What is Excellence in Communication?

The Excellence in Communication award from Hambrook Web Design will to the group that best uses the internet to promote what they're doing. Whether you're selling a product, service or awareness... You need people to find out. Do it the best and you'll win.

How do we enter?

You need to let us know that you'd like to enter (the sooner the better). Towards the end of the year we'll ask you to give us a brief report outlining what you did to promote your product or service via modern communication. We'll do our own research as well and make our decision from there.

Can we really get a website for free?

Yes. We'll build you a basic website for free.

What do you mean by basic?

Basic means that we'll build you a website that looks similar to this one. We'll use your colours and logo, but the overall layout will be the same. You can have up to six pages though most groups only need three or four.

How do we get a free website?

All you need to do to get a free basic website from Hambrook Web Design is send us your logo and an MS Word document with the content you want on each page.

You can have up to a half dozen pages including a contact page with a form for visitors to contact you directly. You can tell visitors about your product or service as well as your team and your goals.

Can we have Feature X?

While we can build anything we simply can't offer too many features to every Young Enterprise Scheme team for free. We're very happy to support the YES teams with free basic websites, we simply can't afford to offer too much for free. It wouldn't be fair to the other teams and it wouldn't be fair to our customers.

If there's a feature you'd like, then head over to the Features page and see if it's there. Some are free, some cost and some are free but you have to do a little bit yourself. If the feature you want isn't listed there then simply contact us and ask.

What is the prize for Excellence in Communication?

The prize for Excellence in Communication is a full website for your project. Valued at up to $3000 plus hosting for one year. A total value of over $3,500.

If you decide not to continue your venture and don't need a website, then we'll award a $200 cash prize to your group.

Do we need a website from you to enter?

Nope. You can have a website by somebody else, or even no website at all. You could promote yourself entirely on social media and still win if you perform well enough.

But remember, if we're not your target audience then we may not see it so make sure you tell us (Hambrook Web Design) what you're doing so we can see.
