Available Features
We're providing basic website for free. Our goal is to help Young Enterprise Scheme teams with the projects, we're not trying to up-sell you on features to make us money.
This page simply lists feature requests that we receive and prices if applicable. All prices are severely discounted but for some features we do have to charge a fee in order to remain fair to the other teams and due to the large amount of teams contacting us.
Some features are implemented in a one-off way that isn't representative of one of our full-blown websites but is fully functional for the needs.
Features
Comments Page
You can have a comments page on your website using either the Disqus or Facebook comment platforms. You will need to moderate these yourself.
Price: Free.
Custom Domain
Each website gets a domain name (internet address) similar to www.yourteamname.yes.school.nz for free until the end of the year. But some teams have opted to purchase "proper" domain names such as www.yourteamname.co.nz
Price: $25+gst, or register it yourself (will cost about the same) and ask us for config details.
Custom Template
If you'd like to use a custom template that's either designed by your team or purchased online then we can do this too. You can supply the files in any format produced by Adobe Creative Suite, GIMP or Inkscape.
Price: From $100+gst upwards, depending on the complexity of the template.
Online Store/Shopping Cart
While we build online stores and e-commerce websites all the time, they take time to build. We're happy to extend the contact form to more of an "interested in buying" form.
A few groups have used Paypal "Buy Now" buttons to sell items on their websites.
Price: Free, but you have to go to Paypal and use their tool to generate a "Buy Now" button, then send the code to us.
If you really want one of our "proper" online stores, then contact us and we'll arrange a quote.
